Canadian regulatory framework
AvenQuant follows applicable requirements for identity verification, complaint handling, privacy and operational security. Regulatory treatment depends on the service and the legal entity providing it; users should request and independently verify current provider details.
| Jurisdiction | Regulator / route | Registration / regulatory basis |
|---|---|---|
| Canada | CIRO framework; eligible complaints may be escalated to OBSI | Complies with applicable Canadian requirements for client onboarding, identity verification and complaint handling. Provider registration details are confirmed on request. |
Oversight does not remove investment risk
Compliance controls may govern conduct, custody, reporting or complaint processes, but they do not stabilize prices or guarantee a profit. Digital assets can move rapidly and may not receive the protections that apply to deposits or eligible securities.
Transparency before funding
Ask which entity will receive funds, which regulator or self-regulatory organization applies, how assets are held and which complaint route is available. Keep copies of the answers and do not rely on a logo or general statement as proof of status.
