Privacy Policy
This policy explains how AvenQuant handles personal information when you visit the site, request contact or use connected services.
Definitions
“Personal information” identifies or can reasonably be linked to a person. “Processing” includes collecting, using, disclosing, storing and deleting that information.
Personal information we collect
Contact and account requests can include first name, last name, telephone number, email address and the content of your request. Verification may involve identity, address and transaction information through an approved secure process.
Usage data
Our systems may record IP address, device and browser type, approximate region, timestamps, requested pages and security events. This supports delivery, diagnosis, abuse prevention and aggregate analysis.
Cookies
Essential cookies can maintain security and requested functionality. Optional analytics is activated only when configured and handled according to applicable consent requirements.
Controller and processors
AvenQuant determines the purpose of website contact processing. Contracted hosting, communications, verification and security providers may process limited data under instructions.
Purposes
We use information to answer requests, arrange support, provide and secure services, verify identity, comply with law, investigate incidents, improve usability and maintain records.
Legal grounds
Processing may be necessary for requested pre-contract steps, performance of an agreement, legal obligations or legitimate interests in security and service improvement. Marketing relies on consent where required.
Retention
Contact requests are normally retained for up to two years after the last meaningful interaction. Account, verification and transaction records are retained for the period required by the applicable provider and law; security logs are kept only as long as necessary for detection, investigation and evidence.
Transfers
A provider may process information outside a province or Canada, where it may be subject to local law. Contractual, access and security safeguards are applied where required.
Disclosure
Information may be disclosed to service entities, contracted IT and verification providers, professional advisers, regulators or public authorities when necessary and lawful. We do not sell contact details.
Security
Access controls, encrypted transport, monitoring and incident procedures reduce risk, but no Internet system can promise absolute security. Report suspected compromise promptly.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or withdrawal of consent, and may object to certain processing. Some records must be retained despite a request.
Service providers and analytics
Providers receive information proportionate to their work and must protect it. No analytics tag runs while the site’s analytics identifier remains unconfigured.
Advertising and retargeting
AvenQuant does not enable third-party retargeting by default. If introduced, it will be disclosed and offered with any required controls.
External sites and children
Third-party sites have their own policies. The service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek information from a person below the applicable age of financial consent.
Changes and contact
We publish revisions here and explain material changes where required. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or requests.
