Risk disclosure

Automated tools can change how information is reviewed, but they cannot remove uncertainty or prevent loss.

1. General warning

Trading cryptoassets, stocks, currencies and related instruments can lead to partial or total loss. Only commit money you can afford to lose and consider independent financial, tax and legal advice.

2. Market risk

Prices can move sharply because of news, sentiment, policy or economic events. An order or automated response may execute after conditions have already changed.

Set exposure limits before a volatile event and avoid treating a historical pattern as a promise.

3. Liquidity risk

A thin market may not support an order at the displayed price. The difference between expected and actual execution is slippage, and it can expand during stress.

4. API and integration risk

Connection errors, expired credentials, incorrect permissions or provider changes can interrupt data or actions. Restrict keys, test settings and monitor connection status.

5. Counterparty and custody risk

Funds or assets held by an exchange, broker, bank or payment provider are exposed to that organization’s solvency, security and legal arrangements. Understand who holds each asset and what protection, if any, applies.

6. Operational risk

Software defects, network loss, cloud failures and incorrect configuration can delay information or create unintended behaviour. Keep contact details current and retain a manual way to review urgent positions where possible.

7. Cybersecurity and phishing

Credential theft, malicious links and device compromise can bypass otherwise strong controls. Use unique passwords, multi-factor authentication and verified contact channels.

8. Model and automation risk

A model simplifies reality and may react poorly to conditions absent from its training or rules. A bot can repeat an error quickly; automation is not evidence that a decision is suitable.

Review limits, outputs and unexpected behaviour rather than leaving a strategy unattended indefinitely.

9. Service availability

Maintenance, upstream outages or heavy demand can make the service unavailable. A pause may prevent access when a market is moving, so do not rely on one interface as the only risk response.

10. Before you begin

Understand the strategy, choose an acceptable loss level, secure the account and decide how often you will review it. Read fee, withdrawal, privacy and provider information before funding.
